This document details the way in which Mallard Watersports collects and uses Personal Information in addition to the rights you as a user have in regard to that information.

This policy applies to all customers of Mallard Watersports and users of www.mallardwatersports.com (the website).

Information that we collect includes card and payment details, billing addresses, delivery addresses, email addresses (passwords if creating an account), full names, age/dates of birth, special access and disability information, medical information, customer reviews, membership of national governing bodies for paddlesports, membership of the emergency services or armed forces and qualifications in the subject of paddlesports and first aid. Any other information collected will be accompanied with an explanation for use.

Information provided by customers at point of purchase will only be used in matters relating to the purchase in question. We will not pass any details on to any third-party without genuine need for them to have access to said information (these third parties may include couriers). We will at no point sell information. We will at no point pass information to parties that do not have genuine need.

Information is collected by the online platforms WIX.com and Royal Mail Click and Drop (accounts, payment and delivery). As such these third parties will automatically hold information. The information is managed and controlled by Mallard Watersports through these third-party online portals.

Mallard Watersports (through the WIX.com application) will retain information required to process refunds and complaints from past orders.

Mallard Watersports aspires to run an email service for promotional content, blog posts, news and offers. This is an opt-in service presented at the time of booking. This requires us to record and hold email addresses and full names. If you do not want to remain on the mailing list or wish to have your details removed having opted in, please contact us at sales@mallardwatersports or select the unsubscribe button within the email footer.

Mallard Watersports may use photographs and video footage taken during services for promotional purposes on the website, promotional emails, social media sites (Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) or on other promotional material. Please advise us as soon as possible if you do not wish for your images to be used.

All payment details are stored through WIX.com. We will store payment details (including card details) until all payments associated with the purchase or booked service are complete, and any refunds have been issued. After which they will be erased.

We will hold customers’ information until we no longer have any genuine need. You have a right to erasure, if you wish for us to remove this information sooner, then please contact us by emailing sales@mallardwatersports.com.
